Huddersfield Golf Club

Brief

Chameleon were commissioned to create a strong internet presence for this high class championship golf course. They required a top class design tied in with easy functionality. A number technical features were also within the brief including.... a restricted members area, image gallery etc, all of which needed to be database driven and incorporate an easy to use content management system. Search engine optimization was also required as their old site didn't really pull much traffic due to poor and out-dated construction.

Solution

The look of the new site speaks for itself, modern and classy yet inkeeping with the tradition and history of the club. Numerous parts of the site run from a backend database including the news, image gallery, hole details and members registration area. All of which are linked to a simple to use content management system.

As we also host the site HGC have access to our excellent traffic statistics package.

We are looking forward to adding further features to the site in the future. Later in the spring, when the flowers etc around the course are in full bloom we shall be doing a photoshoot of each individual hole which will then be added to the site through the cms.
