Brief
Knock On Wood have worked with Chameleon for several years now, in April 2009 directory Andy Wilson approached Chameleon requesting another site overhaul to bring their site up-to-date with our very latest e commerce solution. After a detailed demonstration of the power and ease of use of our SoSimple e commerce and content management system Andy was keen for us to proceed at our earliest convenience. Alongside a much more advanced e commerce system it was also time for a major design update.
A number of bespoke developments were required for this latest world music site including a members only pricing structure for educational sector customers including Schools and Colleges. KOW requested that educational sector customers have the ability to apply for a trade account which would be tied into the content management system, these trade customers also required the ability to order on account as well as pay by the standard credit / debit card method.
Solution
This new design and construct again shouts our leading skills in the field of e commerce. The design is inkeeping with the original earth music style we created some years back, yet sits alongside some of our most up-to-date e commerce functionality.
Our client has a huge amount of control over the content on their site via our SoSimple content management system. We have fulfilled the clients specification and exceeded their expectations once again. The site features a login restricted trade pricing structure for educational sector customers. Category, sub category and product information as with all our sites is structured in such a way as to greatly aid seo, alongside a categorized links page section which is again developed to aid seo.
