	Client Fight Superstore Brief Simon at Fight Superstore originally approached Chameleon for a consultation after searching for the phrase “web design” on the msn search engine in which we appear on the first page. He was impressed with our extensive portfolio of websites and proven expertise in the e commerce field. Simon stated that he wanted every e commerce feature I had to offer with a simple brief of wanting to be the best mixed martial arts supplies website in the UK. I initially demonstrated the Eagle Music website to Simon giving him a good insight into all the front end and back end features available. After confirming a final brief Simon was keen for us to start production as soon as possible. 	Client Eagle Music Shop Brief As many of my existing clients are aware, I also play a key role in the development of my family music business Eagle Music Shop. The new Eagle site which was launched mid June after several months of development. The original site which I developed some 4 years ago, although had always worked extremely well and gained an impressive search engine presence, was become slightly outdated and so I took on a complete re-structure from the ground up. 	Client Huddersfield Golf Club Brief Chameleon were commissioned to create a strong internet presence for this high class championship golf course. They required a top class design tied in with easy functionality. A number technical features were also within the brief including.... a restricted members area, image gallery etc, all of which needed to be database driven and incorporate an easy to use content management system. Search engine optimization was also required as their old site didn't really pull much traffic due to poor and out-dated construction. Solution The look of the new site speaks for itself, modern and classy yet inkeeping with the tradition and history of the club. Numerous parts of the site run from a backend database including the news, image gallery, hole details and members registration area. 	Client Paxford Composites Brief Huntingdon based Paxford Composites required a website that would provide clear information as to the services they provide and which industries their services are relevant to. They also required easy maintenance of the informational pages on the site alongside client side search engine optimization. Having a prestigious client base it was essential that the design of the site portray a professional image. Solution Chameleon researched the relevant industries whom Paxford Composites supply services to and built a high class website based around the images we sourced. 	Client Spain Plus More Brief Specifically, the brief outlined the requirement for a revamped look alongside a vast amount more functionality than their previous site. The actual property information was to be supplied as a flat csv file feed from a property company in Spain. Our client required numerous features on their site including: A shopping basket type portfolio which would allow users to store property information for future refernce. An advanced search facility was required so users can filter easily to find exactly what their looking for. An email alert system so that users can store their search criteria and be sent emails when properties matching their criteria are found in the database Plus much more! Solution Chameleon have successfully produced a highly functional website that has a professional image and is very easy to use. Numerous server side, automated procedures are used to import and convert the flat csv file into a fully fledged SQL database. 	Client Genon Laboratories Ltd Brief Huddersfield based Genon Laboratories Ltd contacted Chameleon as a start up business initially looking for web and email hosting services with the intent on having a website developed for them once they had agreed upon a specification. Solution Chameleon were fast to setup Genon with several pop email boxes to get them up and running. After an initial consultation we worked together to draw up a brief for the website and once finalized began the design and development of the site. Genon required the ability to alter content on much of the site without the requirement of any additional software so our SoSimple module was adapted to fit in just right. Our 'SoSimple' content management module puts our client in control of the bulk of the content on their site. 	Client Woodsome Hall Golf Club Brief Tracey Mee, Club Secretary approached Chameleon providing a brief for a completely re-vamped website. Requirements included the full design concept, construction, content management, hosting plus an on-course photo shoot. A password protected members area was also required for club members giving them access to additional content. 	Client Andy Thornton Ltd Brief The brief was to design, construct and host a database driven site that would be attractive, fast loading, easy to navigate and also to provide a strategy to improve their search engine exposure. Andy Thornton also wanted better in-depth statistics on their site traffic. Solution Chameleon designed and developed a large content rich database driven website running on ASP and from a backend SQL Server database. We developed the database from the ground up, tailored to hold their product information in a structured format. The site is structured in such a way as to maximise its exposure to search engines and develop Google page Ranks on each main product category page. Due to the large number of categories within the Andy Thornton product range we chose to go for a fast css based tree menu navigation made easily accessible in the left column of every page. A breadcrumb trail adds to the ease of navigation Other site features include our e newsletter suite allowing for email broadcasting to registered email addresses to Andy Thornton can keep their customers in touch with site updates, industry news and special offers. Flash animations relevant to each product category add to the clean and crisp design. 	Client Penmap Brief Penmap is a family of software and hardware field based products that have been designed specifically for survey professionals working in difficult environments. Factors such as durability, and field ergonomics were all given the highest priority in the design of Penmap and Penmap has become the industry standard for Pen based data collection using GPS and other positioning technology. Chameleon were approached by Penmap who were requiring a completely new web presence. After browsing through our portfolio and being impressed with the consistent professional image of site builds in our portfolio. With a brief including a considerable amount of content management and a technical support system, Penmap were also impressed by our extensive work on database driven websites. Solution From the ground up Chameleon have designed and built a clean cut, easy to use, database driven website alongside a variation of our SoSimple content management system. The backend content management system allows our client to easily add product information to the site, including the ability to upload multiple product images and assign downloadable documents against any particular product, document types including .pdf, .doc, .xls, .mp3, .mov, .wmv, .flv and so forth. We are particularly impressed with the final results of our customer support ticket module which allows registered customers access to online support. All correspondence is stored in the database against the customers ID and support ID's and also provides email updates each time the status of a ticket is updated. E commerce functionality shall be added to the Penmap site during the coming weeks. 	Client SF Fire Protection Services Ltd Brief SF Fire Protection Services Ltd approached Chameleon requiring a complete overhaul of their outdated website which had been left stagnant for some time and was not producing the results they would like. SF wanted the ability to easily update the content areas of their site as and when necessary and so required a content management system. Once the new site becomes established on the search engine network they also were keen for high positions within Google for localized search phrases. 	Client HI Group PLC - Crown, Fridgemaster, Frigidaire Brief HI Group PLC approached Chameleon requiring design, construct, programming and hosting for a number of their corporate group websites. Initially requiring 3 sites for Crown, Frigidaire and Fridgemaster with further projects to follow. Solution We havedesigned and built the first three sites using the same structure and SQL server database, but each providing a slightly different design feel with subtle colour variations. The 3 sites are administered by HI Group staff through one content management system. All product and news information can be easily updated through a web based control panel. 	Client Teales Limited Brief For Teales our brief was to design and construct a corporate looking site from just a basic design brief. Solution A highly professional image was required for Teales due to the nature of their clients, many of whom are major UK insurance companies. We broke down the Teales services into 5 major categories and sourced all imagery to fit. Teales were delighted with our initial design presentation and the final site has strayed very little from the original board mounted designs. The imagery we sourced fits perfectly with each core service area The site features a database driven news section which comes complete with a content management system accessible through a password protected back end. CNM have a team of software development engineers who apply extreme programming methodology to ensure they are able to expedite modifications to their systems in order to meet customer requirements. 	Client Andy Thornton Ltd Brief Our client Andy Thornton Ltd required a completely new website to showcase their home bars range of products. The site required an enquiry style shopping basket, somewhat similar to a wish list. This enquiry basket of products needed to be sent to Andy Thornton Ltd along with the users captured personal information. Solution In Keeping with Andy Thornton's main site style Chameleon have designed & built an attractive, clean cut website to meet Andy Thornton Ltd's exact requirements. The product information of the site is built around a robust sql server database. This information is then tied to our easy to use shopping basket, allowing the user to request further information on any of the products of their choice. Just like any other view basket page, items can also be easily removed. Once happy with the basket contents the user proceeds to provide their personal information which in turn generates and sends an email to Andy Thornton Ltd. Site maintenance is achieved through an easy to use content management system which allows for the addition, updating, deletion of products plus multiple image uploads. Thumbnails of uploaded images are created automatically on the server. Solution Chameleon designed and developed a new web presence for The Catapult Group from a slim brief. We chose to proceed with a very simple, clean design and build with emphasis on eye catching imagery, all design images sourced by Chameleon. The site features a database driven news section complete with client content management which means the client can update their news articles as and when they need and at no extra cost. Another database driven feature is the image gallery which again has client content management allowing for simple upload of images including automated resizing to thumbnails on the server Chameleon also provide The Catapult Group with website and email hosting. 	Client Swallow Machinery Brief The brief was to design and construct a small website that would give web users an overview of the services and products available from Swallow Machinery. Solution The Swallow site has recently seen a face lift by Chameleon after we originally developed the site in early 2003. The site is all static html and provides web users with a good insight into the services and products provided from Swallow Machinery. 	Client Mtroniks Brief The brief was to design, construct and host a modern looking website which would allow Mtroniks staff to easily update the product information on their site. Solution Mtroniks wanted the ability to update their site on a regular basis and so a database driven solution complete with client content management was the best solution The site runs on ASP and is hooked up to a backend Access database. The content management system is easily accessible through a password protected area of the website and allows the client to add / amend / delete products, upload product images and also has a latest news section complete with cms. 	Client HI Group PLC - HI Way Express Brief Hi Group PLC required a new website for its storage & distribution logistics company HI Way Express. Our client wanted the site completed and live within a very short period, using existing HI Way Express photography with the aim of re-vamping the site once their new 270,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility is completed. Solution Chameleon have produced an attractive, clean and fast loading website for HI Way Express within a tight deadline. We also host the site and provide graphical site traffic statistics. We have incorporated a database driven news section complete with a content management system allowing HI Way Express to easily add and amend content as and when they please. 	Client The Racecourse Merchandise Co. Brief The Racecourse Merchandise required an e commerce site to sell their official racecourse merchandise products on-line. The client needed to easily update the site on a regular basis and also required web and email hosting. Solution Chameleon have created a database driven e commerce site complete with a content management system. Our client can add/amend/delete content as and when he feels without having to request the changes to us. Updates are made through a secure backend area of the site through any web browser. The e commerce system captures customer details during the registration process meaning that returning customers can log in quickly to populate their details. The online storage of the customers details are then available for future marketing use. The checkout area of the site is secured by a Thawte 128 bit web server certificate providing customers with peace of mind whilst entering their credit card details.
